Kenny Lauritzen, Safety Coordinator

Ken LauritzenWhether you’re a building owner, architect or contractor, no one wants to see an accident happen at a job site. My role at Key Builders is to make sure that safety comes first

For each project, I put together a field safety plan to help ensure a safe working environment, to minimize risk and to eliminate surprises. I run monthly safety meetings for everyone on the job site. And I inspect all job sites to make sure that all of the contractors are following our safety guidelines. We strive to make sure that everyone we hire and we work with are as safe as possible in all possible conditions.

My role at Key Builders is to make sure that safety comes first.

I’ve worked with Key Builders for five years, starting as an ironworker and a carpenter. I’ve performed many different jobs out in the field, and I love the work. So when it comes to safety, I understand how the work is performed in the field and what steps we need to take to make sure work is performed safely.

We’re proud that our safety rating is continuously improving. See for yourself in our Prequalification Statement.
